Guidance
The purpose of the guidance curriculum component is to help all students develop essential life skills. It is the foundation of a developmental guidance program. We are able to reach more kids through guidance than any other counseling method. In Texas, the four content areas have been identified for guidance curriculum.
These skills are taught through classroom guidance lessons. Counselors visit each grade level several times throughout the year to deliver fun, informative, need based lessons to our students.
