Individual Planning
The individual planning component guides students in planning, monitoring and managing their own educational, career, personal and social development. Each student is provided with the necessary tools to help reach his/her established goals.
Individual planning includes activities such as:
- Four Year Planning Guides to help facilitate transition from one grade level to the next
- Grade Level Conferences with students to review graduation requirements and progress
- Pre-Registration in courses for the following school year
- New Student Registration
- Counselor completed and updated Audit Sheets on each student
- Assistance in research for college, workforce, military and financial aid for postsecondary readiness
- Career Development and College Readiness Activities
Please see the forms attached for help in selecting your courses at Harlan High School. Please note that class availability is subject to change. Also, many courses require pre-requisites. Please make sure you have completed the pre-requisite for that class. If you have not met the pre-requisite for the class, you will be placed accordingly.
