System Support
Whereas the other three components (Guidance, Individual Planning, Responsive Services) serve students directly, the system support component describes services and management activities which indirectly benefit students. All activities must fall under counselor duties.

- Counselor staff development, department meetings, small group planning, coordination of guidance activities
- Staff and community relations
- Community outreach
- Program development and management
- Attending college information presentation sessions
- Consultation with teachers, attending Pre-ARD meetings, interpret data from testing programs.
- Planning and hosting parent nights, campus activities such as Red Ribbon Week, Generation Education Go Get It Week, etc.
